Operating procedures for diesel engine fire pump system
1. Diesel engine fire pump
Inspection before start of diesel engine fire pump
(1) Check the voltmeter on the diesel engine fire pump control cabinet to show the normal voltage between 24 and 26 volts.
(2) Check whether all components of diesel engine fire pump are normal, accessories are reliably connected, and body cleaning will not affect activated debris.
(3) Check whether the oil level of diesel engine fire pump is normal. If an oil shortage is found between L and h, the service department should be contacted to add the same type of oil.
(4) Check whether the coolant of diesel engine fire pump is normal (it should be filled normally).
(5) Check whether the power supply of diesel engine fire pump control cabinet has been sent, and check whether the power supply QF1, B power supply QF2, charging power supply QF3 and PLC power supply QF4 of control cabinet are in place, and the corresponding power indicator lights up.
(6) When the ambient temperature of diesel engine fire pump is lower than 5 ℃, preheating shall be carried out before starting, and the preheating plug shall be checked before starting.
Start stop operation of diesel engine fire pump
Turn the selector switch to the full stop position. At this time, the corresponding indicator light is on and the voltmeter has a voltage display. Under normal conditions, the voltage is 24-26v. If there is no abnormality, the PLC power circuit breaker can be closed, the switch power indicator light is on, and the run indicator light on the PLC is on. If the run indicator goes out, the PLC fails. At this time, only the emergency start and stop buttons can be used to operate the equipment.
When the operation indicator on PLC is on, the system can work.
Diesel engine fire pump emergency start
(1) When PLC works abnormally, that is, when the running indicator light on PLC is not on, the diesel engine fire pump can be started in an emergency.
(2) Press the green emergency start button to start the engine driven diesel engine fire pump and release it when the diesel engine starts. If you press and hold the emergency start button for 10 seconds to start, it means that the device is difficult to start or unable to start, please release it immediately, find out the cause, and troubleshoot the problem before starting.
(3) The emergency start fails, the operation light is still on, and the emergency stop button must be pressed before it can be reset to prepare for the next start. When the emergency start button is pressed, PLC stops working due to power loss.
Diesel engine fire pump emergency stop
(1) When the PLC works abnormally, that is, when the run indicator on the PLC is not on, the diesel engine fire pump can be stopped in emergency mode.
(2) Press the red emergency stop button, the diesel engine fire pump will stop immediately, and the control system will stop working. The emergency stop button will not reset automatically. Rotate clockwise about 15 degrees before resetting.
(3) When the emergency start button is activated, it can only be stopped with the emergency stop button.
(4) The emergency stop button can also be used to stop after manual or automatic start.
(5) To use the emergency start or stop function, the selector switch must be in the "manual" or "auto" position, not the "all stops" position.
Diesel engine fire pump manual start
(1) Switch the selector switch to the "manual" and "local" positions and turn on the "manual" and "local" indicators.
(2) Press the green start button for more than 300 milliseconds and the system starts to start. If it does not start in 12 seconds, it will stop automatically. Once activated, the button can be relaxed.
(3) When the switch item of "manual" position is selected, the automatic start function fails.
Diesel engine fire pump manual stop
The manual stop button can be used to start in a non emergency state. Press the red stop button for more than 300 milliseconds and the system shuts down.
Automatic start of diesel engine fire pump
(1) When the diesel engine fire pump receives the remote fire alarm signal, the fire alarm light will be on, and if the "auto", "remote" position, "auto", "remote" indicator light is selected, the alarm will sound. When the pressure fails to meet the set requirements or the electric fire pump fails, the diesel engine will start automatically to keep the fire pressure at 0.80mpa. When the pressure needs to stop, the stop button must be pressed manually.
(2) If the start fails, the start failed indicator lights up. Switch the selector switch to the "full stop" position once, press the stop button for more than three seconds, or press the emergency stop button to reset the PLC, and then continue to receive the signal.
(3) Inspection, operation and maintenance of diesel engine fire pump
Check the diesel engine fire pump in standby state
The main results are as follows:
(1) The main body of diesel engine fire pump is clean and free of foreign matters, oil leakage and water leakage. All parts are firmly connected and reliably grounded. The inlet and outlet of the pump are fully open and the wiring of all parts is normal.
(2) The coolant of diesel engine fire pump is normal, more than 95%.
(3) The battery voltage is normal, the voltage is between 24 and 26V, and the charging power supply is normal.
(4) The exhaust port is not blocked, and the exhaust pipe is firmly installed.
(5) The air filter is dry and clean without damage, and the fan belt is normal.
(6) The fuel level of the tank shall be normal and not less than 2 ≤ 3 of the tank.
(7) The lubricating oil level of diesel engine is normal, between L and H.
(8) Each control power switch of the control panel is put into operation, the switch position is correct, and there is no abnormal alarm.
(9) There is no impurity, leakage, normal temperature and sufficient lighting in the room.
The control mode of diesel engine fire pump is in the state of automatic remote control.
Check the diesel engine fire pump in operation
