Installation of diesel engine self-priming pump:

1. In the direct drive of pump and motor, the coaxiality of pump shaft and motor output should be noted. The installation accuracy of the pump has a great influence on the stability and service life of the pump, so it must be carefully installed and corrected.

2. The pump coupling must be firmly fixed with a screwdriver, and the screwdriver shall be locked. Be careful not to loosen the screwdriver, otherwise it may cause impeller movement and mechanical failure.

3. In order to maintain a certain amount of storage liquid in the pump body to obtain better self-priming capacity and prevent dry friction of mechanical seal, the inlet of the pump must be higher than the center line of the pump shaft.

4. Attention shall be paid to the installation of diesel self-priming pump suction pipeline:

1. The installation height of suction inlet shall not exceed 5m. If conditions permit, the suction inlet shall be installed as low as possible to the minimum reservoir level of the pool and as low as possible. Which is beneficial, the length of the tube and the low bending rate? Shorten suction time and improve suction function.

2. Valves, flanges, etc. in the suction pipeline of the Bay shall be prevented from air leakage or liquid leakage, i.e. the suction pipeline is not allowed to leak.

3. Solid and other impurities shall be prevented from being inhaled into the pump body. Therefore, a filter should be installed in the suction line. The effective flow area of the filter shall be 2-3 times of the suction pipe section. The filter should be checked regularly.

4. The suction pipeline and nozzle pipeline shall have their own support, and the pump body itself is not allowed to bear the load of the pipeline.

5. When installing the pump, the static grounding resistance of the pump and pipeline shall meet the specified requirements.

6. During the installation of pump shell and pipeline of diesel self-priming pump, it is required to strictly check whether there are stones, iron sand and other impurities.

7. The allowable axial deviation of positive pump coupling and electric moving coupling with installation clearance and coaxiality is 0.1mm. The height difference between pump shaft and motor shaft can be adjusted by copper or iron sheet.

8. Carry out the final inspection after the actual operation of the machine for 3-4 hours. If there is no defect, the installation is considered to be completed. The temperature of the bearings should be checked during the test operation. The temperature of the bearing body shall not exceed 70 ° C.

9. The cooling water joint of the bearing body of the pump with the cooling chamber device is used to match the rubber pipe or plastic pipe of the inner hole 12. The joint thread size is M12 * 1.75.

10. In the pump outlet pipe, if the pump is equipped with a one-way valve, which can not make the pump discharge gas smoothly during the pumping process, the pump outlet shall be connected with the exhaust pipe and valve.

Use of diesel engine self-priming pump:

(1) Preparation and inspection before start:

1. According to the working conditions of the pump, the self-priming pump of this series of diesel engine is lubricated with high-quality calcium base grease and 10 oil respectively. If grease lubrication is used, the pump should periodically add grease to the bearing housing. If the oil level is insufficient, add oil.

2. Check whether the liquid storage in the pump housing is higher than the upper edge of the impeller. If it is insufficient, it can be directly injected into the pump body from the filling port on the pump shell. It should not be started without liquid storage. Otherwise, the pump can not work normally, easy to damage the mechanical seal.

3. Check whether the rotating parts of self-priming pump of diesel engine have magnetic collision.

4. Check whether the nuts at the bottom of the pump body and at each joint are loose.

5. Check the coaxiality and straightness of pump shaft and motor main shaft.

6. Check the water inlet pipe for leakage. If there is a leak, you must try to eliminate it.

7. Open the valve of the suction line. Slightly (partially) open the outlet control valve.

(2) Starting and operation:

1. Position the diesel self-priming pump, and pay attention to whether the rotation direction of the pump shaft is correct.

2. Pay attention to the abnormal sound and vibration of self-priming pump of diesel engine during rotation.

3. Pay attention to the readings of pressure gauge and vacuum gauge. After startup, when the readings of pressure gauge and vacuum gauge fluctuate for a period of time and the display is stable, it means that the pump is full of liquid and enters into normal infusion operation.

4. Before the pump enters into normal infusion operation, pay special attention to the rise of water temperature in the pump. If the process is too long and the water temperature in the pump is too high, stop the pump to check the cause.

5. If the temperature of the liquid in the pump is too high and it is difficult to fill automatically, it can be temporarily stopped. Use the liquid in the discharge line to return to the pump or directly add the liquid to the pump at the filling port on the pump body. The liquid in the pump is cooled. Then start.

6. If there is strong vibration and noise during the operation of the pump, it may be caused by the cavitation of the pump. There are two reasons for cavitation: one is the excessive flow velocity of the inlet pipe, the other is the excessive suction distance. When the flow is too high, the outlet control valve can be adjusted. When the reading of the pressure gauge increases, when the inlet pipeline is blocked, it should be eliminated in time: when the suction distance is too high, the installation height of the pump can be properly reduced.

7. The pump stops during operation. When it is necessary to restart, the outlet control valve should be slightly opened (not completely closed), which is not only conducive to the exhaust of the gas in the process of suction, but also to ensure that the pump is started under light load.

8. Pay attention to check whether there is leakage in the pipeline system of diesel engine self-priming pump.

(3) Stop pump:

1. First, the gate valve in the nozzle pipe must be closed.

2. Stop the diesel pump.

3. In the cold season, the liquid in the pump body and the water in the cooling chamber of the bearing body shall be emptied to prevent the parts from freezing.
