Maintenance of centrifugal pump

Check whether the pipes and joints of the diesel engine water pump are loose. Turn the centrifugal pump by hand to see if it is flexible. When the bearing body is equipped with bearing lubricating oil, the oil level shall be observed on the center line of the oil mark, and the lubricating oil shall be replaced or supplemented in time.

Motor, see if the motor turns correctly. When the motor is in normal operation, open the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump, display the appropriate pressure, gradually open the gate valve, and check the load of the motor.

The flow and head of centrifugal pump shall be controlled within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the centrifugal pump operates at the highest efficiency point, so as to achieve the maximum energy saving effect. During the operation of the pump, the bearing temperature shall not exceed the ambient temperature by 35 ℃, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80 ℃.

At this time, the centrifugal pump has abnormal noise, and it should be stopped immediately to check the cause. To stop using, first close the gate valve, pressure gauge, and then stop the motor.

In the first month of operation, change the lubricating oil after 100 hours, and change the oil every 500 hours. The filling cover of the rotor pump is filled to ensure that the water drop in the filling room is normal (leakage in the form of liquid drop is desirable).

The pump of diesel engine works by the centrifugal movement of water caused by the rotation of impeller. Before starting the pump, the pump shell and suction pipe must be filled with water, and then the motor must be started, so that the pump shaft drives the impeller and water to rotate at high speed, and the water moves in the centrifugal state, and is thrown to the outer edge of the impeller. It flows into the water pressure pipe of the pump through the passage of the volute pump case.
